SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER It is almost half over, but I can easily say this has been one of the best thus far. I have finally fallen into a minor "state of relaxation" and know how to occupy the "down time". I have been doing a lot of reading these past weeks... and I'm currently on Michael Pollan's "Second Nature". His garden troubles make mine seem embarrassingly insignificant, but its been an interesting narrative against mine. It all has me caught up in the moment... in the thought of one day having a real plot of land to craft as my own. One where I can dig a big hole and stand in it. I've started putting together demos for the new album... I've totally been reverting back to my old ways, so this new album might come off as a bit immature. Sometimes I'm just sick of being so adult and music is still a safe place to be childish. I've been listening to a lot of new (Pains of Being Pure of Heart, Leichtenstein) & old (Fairways, Club 8) jams, it's all in there somewhere. I will also be interviewed in a future edition of Nerf Jihad. I will let you know when that beast drops (but I don't know, this is a real zine, so it might be "sorry digital peeps, tough noogies"). Bobo Kitty says hi. |

Music has always sounded best through my father's speakers. Life is sonic-ly full bodied and rich again. Go Hawks! |

The garden is planted (kale, chard, spinach, tomatoes, basil). The hair is cut (10"). The records are reorganized (chronologically). I made a new friend (Chance).
